As one of my faculties from my bachelor study suggest me this book she told me that refer this book once in your academic journey and I thought if she told me means there is definitely something important in this book so I refer this book I start reading.
I just opened the book and saw the index showing seven elements which are Floor , Column , Wall , Door , Window , Stair and Roof and for each elements there is another individual index which includes Definition , Anatomy , Evolution , Attributes , Spatial Roles , Applications , Design Considerations.

To be honest , after reading these words , I thought that I would have to take some time to read this book to understand these and I was going to close the book but then I thought , just look at the first chapter only , I don’t want to read or understand it at that time , but just want to see what is included in that chapter. I started rolling pages and I saw some very nice sketches with patterns on the floor and I found it very interesting.

In which there was pattern on floor and if we see these patterns can show the path , defines area zoning , divide spaces and use for aesthetic purpose also. Looking at these sketches , I am amazed that we can give a new purpose to the design by simply using different patterns.
After a discussion with Belinda , she suggested me another book related to this one and the name of that book is ‘” ELEMENTS OF ARCHITECTURE “.

I found this book from the University Library I was issue this book and looking at the chapters and found chapter of flooring and ceiling and again I found some very interesting images of flooring which have very good and unique patterns and these patterns also has the same purpose of showing path , define zoning , dividing area and also for aesthetic purpose too.

Great, sorry did I mix your thinking with Nikhila's? Good to see you referencing Elements of Architecture and unpicking an index.
