Colour theory workshop held on 5th November. We did that workshop under Rachael’s guidance who is our one of the respected lecturers. We started with some basic theory about colour through colour wheel and then with some examples we came to understand the color theory.

After a very good discussion on color theory we moved to exploring colour for the John Pound Center. I choose three words for the space that I want to make and that words are “ Nture , Calm and Energetic “ and for these I had some images in mind

After discussed with Rachael , she suggest us to work in group and fortunately our whole group had the same idea about Nature and then with the consent of all we came to the final words of our design that was “ Historic , Peaceful , Cozy and Nature “. After that we final some images and base on that we decided our final colour palette.

Colour selection was little tough job for us because it is difficult to find accurate colour but we managed it very well and then we started experiment these colours on the paper. We arranged all the papers in 3D view and make compositions. It was very interesting to see the overall composition together.

It was really fun to experiment with colours and it is very useful workshop to finalize our colour palette of John Pound center’s Library and pantry and also a very big thank you to Rachael to guide us .
